Endless Ends, 2023

In this ongoing project, the artist re-records the final last twenty or ten seconds of famous film soundtracks used in their conclusive moments, in an attempt to freeze and archive the different emotions that cinematic endings evoke in us.

'Endless Ends' (2023) is a multichannel sound installation, in which two speakers play in loop a 10 min composition composed solely of the final tewnty or ten seconds of famous film soundtracks. The distinctive fade-out melodies are woven together to create a never-ending crescendo that symbolizes the perpetual cycle of endings and new beginnings, highlighting the significance of endings and the emotions they evoke. Inviting viewers to contemplate the impact of closure and the anticipation of what lies beyond the next event.
