Resilienza, 2021
In his latest work ‘Resilienza’ Friedrich Andreoni extends his carte blanche invitation for an exhibition in Malmö, Sweden, to the struggle of resistance of the Palestinian people. Andreoni collected various voice messages received from Palestinians living in Palestine singing the emblematic Italian popular protest folk song Bella Ciao in Arabic. The selected sound recordings are played back in the order they were received through an iPhone 7 lying on the floor of the gallery space, which functions as a fictional receiver in the show ...Come Here, I Want To See You.
