LOSS, 2020

LOSS shows the industrial port of Abu Dhabi, where, due to inactivity most of the machinerv has been shut down. A gantry crane continuously moves up and down. Its empty belts--stretched into the shape of the hull--rise and fall, holding nothing but air. This space-related performative act simultaneously shows the act of vielding to the uselessness of specific movements and the how observation of this can accelerate the imagination of products with unknown intermediacy.
